Overview
The Aggie Innovation Platform (AIP) is a Hybrid Public and Private Cloud deployment model that primarily provides Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities to the Texas A&M community. The AIP includes three cloud computing providers (AWS, Azure and Google) and our on-premise Aggie Cloud service to provide a flexible, secure and compliant cloud computing experience for Texas A&M University.
Public Cloud providers Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform, offer a variety of resources for Texas A&M students. These resources allow students to learn and use cloud resources with little or no cost.

Service Details
The Aggie Innovation Platform uses Kion Cloud Management. Kion is a portal for cloud account holders that enables a single point of entry, centralizing access, security reporting, and transparent billing information. It also offers access to simplified security compliance reports unavailable within the native cloud accounts. Additionally, Kion serves as AIP’s financial security and visibility tool with the capability of reviewing all cloud accounts without individually accessing each unique portal.
