As a result of the changing landscape in higher education, Texas A&M University now requires students to have access to an appropriate computer to complement course instruction.

Minimum computer specifications are listed below. Most computers purchased in the past few years should meet the minimum standards.

Financial Aid for Technology

Financial aid recipients may request for the cost of purchasing a computer to be added to their estimated Cost of Attendance. This may or may not result in additional financial aid being offered. Aid offered may be in the form of a grant that does not need to be repaid, or a loan that must be repaid depending on individual student eligibility and financial need determined through the financial aid application. You may use your existing device if it meets or exceeds the minimum requirements listed above. Most computers purchased in the past few years should meet the minimum standards. Some colleges/majors have specific requirements. Please ensure your device meets the requirements for your degree program.
