Take these steps to preserve your data and accounts. After the date listed, you will not be able to access these services.
Access to the following Texas A&M services end upon graduation
- TAMU_WiFi access (Guest wireless still available)
- VPN access
- Access to discounted software on software.tamu.edu
- Access to Zoom
- Access to LinkedIn Learning
- Access to OAL and Aggie Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Access to the following Texas A&M services end the semester following graduation
Access to the following services ends two years after graduation*
- Howdy Portal
- Duo-two factor authentication
- Google Workspace for Education (Texas A&M Gmail, Google Drive, etc.)
- Microsoft 365 suite
*If the student is not a US citizen, they will retain their NetID for 3 years instead of 2 years to facilitate their interactions with Immigration Services for Students for that additional year.
You will need to unsubscribe from the following services to remove access

These steps are not required, but will make your transition from Texas A&M University accounts easier.
- Set Up a forwarding email after applying for graduation.
- Forward your NetID@tamu.edu address.
- Set up an auto-reply directing people to email you at your new email.
- Download all needed emails from your Texas A&M Gmail account.
- Download all needed files from your Texas A&M Google Drive and Google Shared Drive.
- Download all needed files from your Texas A&M Microsoft OneDrive.
- Download all needed files from your Open Access Lab drive. (You can request temporary access for up to two years after graduation by reaching out to Help Desk Central.)
- Migrate Adobe Creative Cloud Files.
